The Route Into Music - TRIM
TRIM is a program designed to use music as a vehicle for participants to express themselves and create positive change. Originally launched as an 8-week program less than a year ago, it has rapidly developed to accommodate diverse organizations with flexible durations. Focusing on hip-hop culture, TRIM addresses the industry's tendency to perpetuate toxic content by providing a platform for genuine narratives that inspire and encourage. We envision a world where music serves as a source of positive influence, impacting future generations and society at large.
Led by our CEO and Founder, Roy Studmire—a hip-hop songwriting and production professor at Berklee College of Music with a proven track record including placements on NFL, Universal, BRAVO, USA, MTV, and Netflix—TRIM offers comprehensive guidance in creating tasteful and impactful music. From beat-making and songwriting to recording, mixing, and mastering, we provide the full experience all in one place.
